UPDATE man charged in Kitchener standoff

A tense standoff in Kitchener ends with one man in custody and no one injured.
Waterloo Regional Police say a 22-year-old woman was held against her will Saturday afternoon on a Grand River Transit bus on Keewatin Avenue.
It ended after about two hours of negotiations when a 36-year-old man surrendered to police.
The suspect is facing charges of hostage taking, assault with a weapon and breach of probation.
Police say, while there were concerns about a possible weapon being involved, none was found during the investigation.
