2012 KW MLS sale numbers

The average price for all homes sold on the MLS in KW in 2012 was up a little over 3 per cent, with the total number of homes sold dipping less than one per cent lower than the year before.
President of the Kitchener Waterloo Association of Realtors, Dietmar Sommerfeld was pleasantly surprised with the numbers.
“Given the outlook for interest rates in 2013, which look like they’re going to hold steady, local unemployment looks like it’s going to continue to work its way down. 2012 was good, I think 2013 looks like it could be at least as good or better.”
There were a total of 6,212 MLS home sales in KW in 2012.
