2pm – Radio DJ’s
The two Radio DJ’s in Australia that pranked called the hospital where Kate was staying have now spoken out. Mel Greig and Michael Christian were on Australia’s ‘A Current Affair’ and ‘Today Tonight’ where they tearfully spoke about the death of the nurse. The radio show has been cancelled and the two DJ’s remain suspended.
Do you feel bad for the DJ’s or did they get what they deserved?
2:30pm – Teachers
Teachers, Students and Parents will all be protesting across the province today. The Teachers are responding to a contract dispute, while the parents are protesting the fact that the students are being used as “pawns” so teachers can get what they want. Students will also be protesting as many of them will be conducting a sit-in in school cafeterias which is sending the message that they don’t want to lose any education time as well as extra-curricular activities.
