Councillor charged with impaired driving

A Cambridge city councillor faces a charge of impaired operation of a motor vehicle following a collision in Breslau.  

Waterloo Regional Police say 62-year-old Pamela Wolf was charged after two-vehicles collided Friday night at the corner of Fountain Street North and Victoria Street North.

Police say no one was hurt in the crash.  

Today’s Record quotes Wolf as saying, “I feel awful about it and take it very seriously.”

She adds, “I am extremely emotional at this time. I am very thankful no one was hurt.”

570 News contacted Wolf for comment. She said via email, that after seeking legal advice she has been advised not to make any further comments.
