Waterloo-based Sandvine issues a warning to investors

A delay in negotiating a contract with a major customer based in Spain has prompted Sandvine Corp. (TSX:SVC) to issue a warning to investors.

The Waterloo, Ont-based technology company announced before markets opened that it now expects between $18 million and $18.5 million of revenue in its second quarter, which just ended last week.

That’s about $4 million below a consensus estimate compiled by Thomson Reuters before the announcement.

Sandvine supplies telecom companies with technology to manage their high-speed or broadband Internet services.
