Regional Police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down those responsible for a vandalism spree at a Kitchener cemetery.

Police say sometime between Sunday night and Monday morning, 51 headstones were knocked over at the Mount Hope Cemetery on Moore Avenue.

No dollar figure is available, but police say some of the headstones were destroyed while others were damaged.

Police note that it appears the vandalism was random and no ethnic group was targeted.
