Shantz Station Road now open

Shantz Station Road has been re-opened after crews worked to clean up the mess left by a crash involving a grain truck.

The crash happened just before 12:30 this afternoon.

Police spokesperson Olaf Heinzel says they worked alongside members of the Ministry of Environment cleaning up a diesel spill as well as several tons of grain.

“The good news is there are only minor injuries reported to the 32-year-old driver,” Heinzel says

The driver refused medical treatment.
