Two bodies found in Kitchener

The Waterloo Regional Police Homicide Unit has been called in after the discovery of two bodies in a Kitchener townhouse unit.

Regional Police Inspector Kevin Thaler tells 570 News they were called out to the Mooregate Crescent address around 8:30 last night and the deaths are considered suspicious at this time. Mooregate is in the Victoria/Westmount area.

Thaler says the investigation is in the early stages and they are expected to release more information later this morning.

This morning’s Record reports the bodies are of a woman and a female child, but there are no names or ages.

The paper says they were found by a relative.
