Remembrance Day services are being held across the Region today.
The main service in Kitchener is at the cenotaph starting at 10:40.
570’s Jeff Allan will be the Master of Ceremonies for that service. Afterwards, Jeff will broadcast live from Royal Canadian Legion branch 530 in Waterloo. The main ceremony in Waterloo is at the cenotaph.
In Cambridge, there are three services today: at the Galt cenotaph, the Tannery and Queen street cenotaph in Hespeler and the cenotaph in Preston.
In Wilmot Township, there will be an indoor service at the New Hamburg Arena.
Later this afternoon, a special Remembrance Day ceremony will be held at Veterans’ Green – that’s at the corner of Spadina Road East and Glen Road. It begins at 3:30.
