Lock your doors

Regional police are asking people living in Waterloo’s west end to lock their car doors after a large number of thefts were reported.

Thefts happened mostly overnight and the crooks gained easy access to the inside of the car and ripped off garage door openers. That led them to enter homes and steal property inside.

Car keys were also stolen which made it easy for the criminals to drive off with cars.
