Charges laid after car chase

A Waterloo man is facing a number of charges following a police chase on 403 in Mississauga.
Just after 12:30 this morning…OPP say an officer spotted a car travelling at a high rate of speed.
They say the officer turned on his lights and sirens but the driver kept going. Police say the car was finally stopped after it got off the highway.
24-year-old Mahad Murtaza is charged with failing to stop, stunt driving, careless driver, and driving without insurance.
