Police search for missing methadone

Regional Police are out with a warning after some methadone went missing.

Police say a patient of a Kitchener clinic was given twenty 100 milligram bottles of the drug, which he forgot on a Grand River Transit Bus Monday around 6 o’clock.

The methadone was inside two lockboxes which were in a black canvas grocery bag.

Police are warning the public not to consume the drug because the quantities could be lethal.

They’re asking anyone who found the bag to give them a call at 519 650 8500 ext. 4499.
