BC Place lights up the skyline

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – It’s being described as Close Encounters of the Third Kind in the downtown core. Crews are testing the exterior LED lighting system at the renovated BC Place Stadium.
Mike Cooke was on his deck on Fraser Street when the testing began.
“It’s lit up like I have never seen anything lit up before,” he raves. “It’s like a spaceship. It’s all beautiful colours of the rainbow, all different colours.”
The BC Lions play at BC Place on Sept. 30.
