Power outage in East Kitchener

About 1,200 homes and businesses were without power in East Kitchener after a truck hit a hydro pole this morning.

It happened around 5:30 a.m. on Forwell Road near Victoria, knocking out power from Ottawa and Lackner over to Victoria and Lackner.

Most of the power was back on by about 7:30 a.m.
