Trade and other financial matters will be some of the topics discussed today when Prime Minister Harper meets Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff.

Harper is in Brasilia, where he hopes to get the ball rolling towards a free trade deal with Brazil.

That nation’s economy grew by a red-hot seven per cent last year.

Harper is on a six-day trade mission that will also take him to Colombia, Costa Rica, and Honduras.
