It’s Camp Day at Tim Hortons with all the money from coffee sales going to help send kids to camp.
Each store is also holding fundraising events like garage sales and bake sales.
Jeff Hoffman with the Tim Hortons Children’s Foundation says it’s an exciting experience for kids who may not otherwise get the chance to go to camp. He says, “We’ll have over 200 kids from the region attend camp…We serve low income kids, some really great kids, who just don’t have some opportunities in life.”
Hoffman says one of their core values is to inspire.
If you’re not a coffee drinker, you can also make a donation online or you can pledge $5 by texting the word “CAMP” to 45678.
