Two motorists are in hospital after a multi-vehicle collision along the 401 just south of Guelph.
A tractor-trailer hauling garbage collided with the rear of a Toyota Corolla, a minivan loaded with auto parts and another vehicle.
The minivan rolled over and tore apart, spreading debris across all lanes of the highway.
The crash, early yesterday afternoon, caused major backups westbound.
The OPP continues to investigate.
