Bryan May – Liberal

Bryan May is a family man committed to his community.  As General Manager of the Woodstock YMCA, Bryan provided key leadership on the multi-million dollar building renovation project.  Before his promotion to Woodstock, Bryan served Cambridge residents as the Director of Membership and Facilities for the Chaplin Family YMCA.

Bryan has helped a wide range of people of all ages and needs.   As a General Manager and as a father with a young family, Bryan has a real understanding of the day-to-day struggles faced by most Canadians.  Bryan’s ability to listen to his local residents, recognize what matters to them, and respond to their needs is what strengthens him as a leader in the community.

Bryan’s experience in creating and running YMCA programs makes him a credible voice on childcare, senior care, and improving the lives of everyday Canadians.  Bryan believes that a better Canada is achievable, but not with Gary Goodyear and Stephen Harper in Ottawa.   Bryan knows that the Goodyear and Harper government has paralyzed Parliament and ignored Canadians.

Bryan is passionate about restoring the integrity of the Canadian Government, both at home and around the world.  Bryan’s vision is one where politics is synonymous with respect and civility.  The Government of Canada can be better.  The Government of Canada will be better with Bryan in Ottawa.

Bryan holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies from the University of Waterloo. Bryan lives in Cambridge, with his wife Kristin and his 4-year-old son James.
