Ignatieff visits Region

Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff made a number of stops in Waterloo Region today.
He joined 570’s Jeff Allan Show by phone, where he talked about several issues. He said his number one platform is education and, “making it accessible to every single Canadian family.”
He also said, if elected, he would re-evaluate the fighter jets Prime Minister Stephen Harper has ordered.

Ignatieff also pitched in for the opening of Kitchener-Centre candidate Karen Redman’s office.
He then took part in a roundtable discussion with several groups at the Waterloo Campus of Conestoga College. He said Canada’s national challenge is, “people without jobs and jobs without people.”
