Kitchener native in Japan during quake

First of all – if you’re looking for info on Canadian friends or family in Japan is asked to call DFAIT at 613-943-1055, or toll free within Canada at 1-800-387-3124 or send an e-mail to sos@international.gc.ca.
Canadians who are in Japan and in need of assistance are asked to contact the Canadian Embassy in Tokyo at 011-81-3-5412-6200.
According to the co-op department at the University of Waterloo, 11 students are working in Japan this term.
Most have already been reached by e-mail and all are reportedly safe.
