Westbound 401 reopens at Homer Watson

The westbound lanes of the 401 are back open following an early morning crash.
They were closed for almost eight hours after a tractor-trailer smashed into another one that was parked on the shoulder around 5am.

One of the drivers suffered minor injuries.
Provincial police say a large amount of debris, including large rolls of steel, was scattered across all three lanes of the highway.
Diesel fuel also made its way onto the 401.
No word on possible charges, Cambridge OPP say the investigation continues.
