Police: what robbery?

An update on a robbery investigation in Kitchener dating back to last week.
On February 7th, Regional Police received a complaint from a male who claimed he had been attacked and punched in the stomach while walking along a pathway from Shadeland Crescent toward Fischer Hallman Road.
Police now say the assault never happened – that they believe the male made up the story.
Police say he has since been warned about public mischief.
