Job prospects are sunny in Guelph

Canadian Solar is looking for a few good men and women — 500 in fact.
The company is hosting a job fair today as it works to staff its new solar module manufacturing plant in Guelph.
The job fair runs from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at its facility at 545 Speedvale Avenue West.
Applicants will meet with the company’s human resources staff.
They’re looking to fill a variety of positions including process technicians, general operators, logistic coordinators and engineers.
Guelph Mayor Karen Farbridge will be among the dignitaries attending.
She calls it “an exciting day for Guelph” as Canadian Solar looks to hire hundreds of people.
