Summer fun coming

Bingemans Big Splash will have some new additions for the summer of 2011.
The park has announced that it will add five brand new water slides, including Boomarango and Full Throttle.
Bingemans President, Mark Bingeman tells 570 News that Full Throttle is unique to all the other slides in the park. It has four chutes side-by-side. Riders slide down head first on a mat, and Bingeman says it’s “a real adrenaline rush.”
Bingeman says Boomerango is an inner-tube ride. Riders wind through a pipe then drop straight down an almost vertical wall. He says once riders reach the top, they’ll feel some weightlessness before being shot down towards the run-out lane.
Bingeman says the new slides are part of a larger, long term plan. He says last summer was a great one and, “we thought we add these new editions and give people a new thrill to enjoy.”
If you’re planning on picking up season passes to Big Splash, Bingeman says now is the best time because they’re at their lowest rates of the year.
