Woolwich Township comes together today for its annual Christmas Goodwill Food Drive.
Spearheaded by the Kiwanis Club of Elmira, the effort has grown over the years to include other local service clubs, as well as community groups, churches and others.
Last year, the drive brought in over 12,000 pounds of food.
The door-to-door canvass takes in every area of the township and will involve some 160-plus volunteers.
It runs from 9 am until noon.
