Two people have been arrested for allegedly spray painting anti-war messages on the steps of Waterloo Town Square.

Police say in addition to the paint, flags from different countries were also glued to side of the stairs.

A 20 year old man and 21 year old woman, both from Waterloo, have been charged with mischief under five thousand dollars.

They were arrested at around 3:30 Tuesday morning.
