Sexual assault in Waterloo

Police in Waterloo are looking for a man involved in a sexual assault yesterday.
It happened on Erb Street West between Fischer Hallman road and Ira Needles between around 3:30 when a 27 year old Waterloo woman was attacked from behind.
She was forced off the sidewalk and down a grass embankment into the yard beside Cederwood Church.
The woman fought off her attacker and eventually escaped.
Witnesses to the incident gave chase to the suspect.
A K9 Unit was called to the scene to search the area to to no avail.
The Attacker is described as a white male, between 17 and 20 years of age with a thin build between 5’7″ and 5’10”. He had very short dark brown or black hair and was wearing a white hoody with the hood up that may have had a grey pattern. Wore dark blue jeans and had a dark knapsack on his back.
