There were over 500 early bird voters in Cambridge over the weekend.
That’s about 200 less people that turned out for the first advance polls back in 2006.
Cambridge City Clerk, Alex Mitchell tells 570 News the biggest rush was between 10 and 11:30am.
The polls were placed at the Cambridge Centre.
Mitchell says the shop and vote has worked out well and is usually less congested than the polls on election day.
Almost 600 voters in Waterloo cast ballots on Saturday and Sunday.
There was just one advance poll in the city in 2006 and over 650 people voted that day.
Waterloo has four more advance polls scheduled.
