Pair of robberies

Regional Police are investigating a pair of robberies in Kitchener last night – both involving convenience stores.
Police say the first, around six o’clock, targeted a Mac’s Milk on Westheights Drive.
Police say a man armed with a weapon fled to a waiting vehicle with some cash.
He’s described as white, mid-twenties, heavy set with a pudgy face and short dark hair. The car was a white, four door older model vehicle.
Then around nine o’clock, a convenience store on Country Hill Drive was knocked off by a man brandishing a weapon.
He’s described as white, late twenties/early thirties, 5′ 7″ with a stocky build and short brown hair.
Police say no one was hurt in either robbery and they are not identifying the weapons used.
