Hit and run search continues

Today marks a grim anniversary for a Waterloo family.
It was one year ago today, 31-year-old Jason Pearson was struck and killed by a vehicle near Grand Bend in Huron County.
The motorist took off and has still not been located.
The crash happened early in the morning north of the Grand Bend Motorplex on Grand Bend Line.
Police are continuing to search for what they call a “vehicle of interest.”
It’s a dark, possibly black, extended cab pickup truck.
Police say the truck was pulling a large enclosed trailer with dual wheels that was possibly silver coloured.
