An accident between St. Jacobs and Elmira has claimed the life of a 23 year old man from Waterloo

It happened just before noon yesterday (Saturday) on Highway 85, when the motorcycle of the 23 year old was on, made contact with a tractor as it was turning left into a driveway.

Police had highway 85 closed from Sawmill road to Listowel road for several hours Saturday while they investigated.
