Attempted robbery in Cambridge

Police have charged a 48-year-old Cambridge man after a robbery early this morning.

Shortly after midnight, the man entered a coffee shop on Water Street in Cambridge, said he had a gun and demanded cash.

He wasn’t able to get any money so he fled the scene on foot.

Shortly after police arrested him in a near by parking lot.

There did not find any weapon on the man and later released him, he’s expected to appear in court in August.
