McDonald’s Shrek recall

The U-S company that’s been making “Shrek” drinking glasses for McDonald’s says it only learned yesterday that the paint contains the toxic metal cadmium.
McDonald’s has recalled millions of glasses being sold in Canada and the United States.
McDonald’s Canada says its recall was made “in an abundance of caution” following consultations with Health Canada.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission in the U-S is warning consumers to immediately stop using the glasses.
