Assault in Waterloo

Regional police are looking for several people after a Waterloo man was assaulted late last night. Police say the 37-year-old suffered minor injuries after being attacked by several males behind a Kingscourt Drive residence shortly after 11 o’clock.

Police say the attackers fled on foot to the parking lot at the nearby Galaxy Cinemas at Conestoga Mall.

Police have descriptions of two of the suspects.

Police say both are black – one with dreadlocks with blonde tips – the other with a hoodie with the word “Jamaica” on the front.
