Kitchener Panthers Open the Season Today

The Kitchener Panthers open the 2010 season on the road this afternoon in Barrie.

Kitchener then plays its home opener tomorrow versus the London Majors.

The expectation for this year is simple, to do better than last year.

Last summer, the Panthers were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs by the first-place Barrie Baycats.

Panthers Field Manager, Brian Bishop tells 570 News they are still quite young and they’ve brought in some pitching help.

Bishop says the goal is a top five finish in the regular season.
