Over $225 thousand raised for KidsAbility

The 5th annual Kids Can’t Wait Radiothon raised over
$225 thousand for KidsAbility.

570 News, 96.7 CHYM FM, and KIX 106 all participated.

The Radiothon was heard live on stations 96.7 CHYM FM and KIX 106 from 6am to 6pm on Friday.

Almost one million dollars has now been raised since its inception.

Last year, KidsAbility helped over 4,000 children, but there’s still a waiting list of some 1,300 children.

KidsAbility helps children with physical and development disabilities.

A number of celebrities dropped by including Toronto Maple Leaf and Waterloo native John Mitchell who signed some autographs.
