Many children wake up on Easter Sunday to treats like chocolate, jelly beans and marshmallow peeps left by the Easter bunny.
Lutheran Church Canada is spreading the other message of Easter
Operation Holy Week is aimed at spreading the story of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, on line.
Pastor Robert Bugbee and President of Lutheran Church Canada says leaders of the church sometimes make the assumption that the congregation and the public as a whole, know the events already.
He says so far, Operation Holy Week has been very effective with many hits to the video message before the website was even launched.
