Hockey Day in Canada

It all started 10 years ago in Toronto and now Hockey Day in Canada is set to touch down in the festival city today.

Don Cherry will host hockey night in Canada at the William Allman Arena in Stratford.

And in the spirit of the day members of the Waterloo Timberwolves are on the ice this morning to teach kids how to play hockey.

It runs from 8-10 this morning at Moses Springer Arena.

They will be assisting instructors of Hockey Fundamentals which is a program for 5 and 6 year olds.
