Benefit telethons in support of Haiti

A pair of benefit concerts for Haiti will take place tonight and include some top Canadian and U.S. talent.
Our sister stations – CHYM FM and KIX 106 – will carry the Canadian and then the international telethon live and uninterrupted from 7:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.
Among the stars appearing on the Canadian telethon, “Canada for Haiti” are Celine Dion, Sarah McLachlan, Nelly Furtado, Michael J. Fox and William Shatner, and retired hockey great Wayne Gretzky.
The U.S. benefit “Hope for Haiti” organized by George Clooney will air right after and feature a slew of performers including, Justin Timberlake, Coldplay, Alicia Keys, Bruce Springsteen, Wyclef Jean, Bono, Beyonce and Madonna.
