Funeral held for earthquake victim

An Elmira woman killed in last Tuesday’s earthquake in Haiti was remembered today.

Mourners packed the Waterloo Mennonite Brethren Church on Lexington Road for Yvonne Martin’s funeral.

The 67-year-old nurse was the first confirmed Canadian casualty of the quake.

The mother of three and grandmother of ten is being remembered as a woman who was rich in all things that mattered.

Martin’s body has still not been returned from Haiti.
