Mattamy Homes honoured by Laurier

Laurier’s Outstanding Business Leader Award was given out today to Mattamy Homes President and CEO Peter Gilgan.
It’s the 22nd year the award has been given out.
Recipients are chosen for their outstanding leadership and management qualities.
Dean of Business and Economics Ginny Dybenko says students and faculty alike, were very impressed by Gilgan’s entrepreneurial spirit and by the new standard of quality he’s achieved in his field.
Gilgan founded Mattamy Homes in 1978 and the company has since grown to be Canada’s biggest home builder.
Mattamy has since built more than 47,000 homes in over 100 communities.
