Another snowy weekend is in store for Waterloo Region.
Environment Canada says to expect up to 10 cm of snow to accumulate between Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon.
Drivers and pedestrians should also prepare for hazardous conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly; highways, roads, walkways, and parking lots may become icy and slippery.
The national weather authority said snow squalls developing off of Lake Huron have caused the winter weather, but the system is expected to weaken Tuesday morning.
