Missing girl last seen in Perth County found safe

Provincial Police say a missing 11-year-old girl last seen in Perth County over the weekend was found safe Tuesday morning.

The girl was last seen at a home near Shakespeare Friday night and was reported missing the next day.

Family had said the only lead they had on her whereabouts was from a gaming social media app that pinged her location near Stratford District Secondary School.

Police said a team of officers from Perth OPP, Stratford Police, and Toronto Police located the young girl, and are thanking everyone for their help in the investigation.
