Two hurt in crash in North Dumfries

On February 27, 2020, at approximately 2:50 a.m., Waterloo Regional Police responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Old Beverly Road in North Dumfries Township. 

A white Ford pickup truck was travelling east on Old Beverly Road when it lost control and struck a utility pole. 

The vehicle came to rest on the passenger side of the motor vehicle. 

As a result of the collision, a 44-year-old female passenger was transported to hospital by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services with non-life threatening injuries. 

The 43-year-old male driver suffered minor injuries. 

The road was closed for several hours while police investigated. 

Road conditions are believed to be a factor in the collision.
