One woman arrested after a fight at Kitchener apartment

One arrest was made after a fight at a Kitchener apartment Saturday morning.
Police responded to reports of two women brandishing knives while fighting at an apartment building in the area of Weber Street East and Cedar Street North.
On their arrival, police found a 48-year-old Kitchener woman suffering from a minor stab wound.
The woman was treated on the scene before she was arrested by police.
She was charged with Assault with a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose and Failure to Comply with an Undertaking.
The accused was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
The other woman is outstanding, and the investigation is ongoing but police anticipate further charges.
