One injured, driver charged following crash in Kitchener

A driver has been charged following a two-vehicle collision in Kitchener.
It happened Wednesday afternoon at Park Street and Allen Street West.
Police say a vehicle was heading east on Allen, when the driver allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign. The vehicle then struck another vehicle travelling south on Park.
One driver was transported to hospital with minor injuries.
A 30-year-old woman has been charged with disobeying a stop sign.
The intersection was closed for several hours while police investigated.
