Items thrown at two ION trains in Waterloo

Regional police are appealing for more information after receiving two separate reports of items being tossed at an ION train while it was in motion.

The incidents happened between Friday and Sunday, in the area of Old Albert Street and Glenelm Crescent in Waterloo.

No one was injured.

Damage is estimated at $8,000 and the two trains have been taken out of service until repairs can be completed.
