Careless driving charge laid in connection with Kitchener collision

A charge has been laid following a collision in Kitchener earlier this week in which a pedestrian was injured.
The crash happened around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Fischer-Hallman Road and Activa Avenue.
It's alleged the driver of a vehicle was making a left turn onto Fischer-Hallman Road when the pedestrian was struck.
The pedestrian was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
The alleged driver of the vehicle, a 44-year-old Kitchener woman, has been charged with careless driving causing bodily harm.
