WRPS investigating after robbery in Cambridge

Regional police are looking for a suspect following a convenience store robbery in Cambridge.

They responded to a call in the McKay Street area on Tuesday, December 31 at around 1:50 p.m.

Police say a man entered the store, demanded money from the clerk and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect did not seem to be armed at the time of the robbery.

The man is being described as white, between 30-40 years old, with an average build and scars on his face.

He was last seen heading south down McKay Street.

No injuries have been reported as a result of the incident.
