‘Winterloo’ festival happening today

Create Waterloo wants you to discover “the magic of winter” in Waterloo with their annual festival, Winterloo.

Kicking off at 11:00 a.m. today and running until 4:00 p.m., the annual, free, family-friendly festival features a series of time-specific, winter-themed activities, including artists carving ice sculptures and storytelling around the fire.

With the exception of today's timed events, the festival has been adapted to accommodate COVID-19 safety protocols, allowing participants to choose their own adventure “with things to see and do on your own schedule.” That includes things like an Uptown Waterloo scavenger hunt and a Comfort Food Crawl.
